To get work thru IBEW Local 234, first you must get yourself registered on the Out-of-Work list.

If you are an electrician in our area looking to join the union, you will need at least 1 year (2,000 hours) of experience working for an electrical contractor. For proof of this experience, we require some type of documentation such as W2s, Paystubs, or a print out of your total wages from the Social Security Office (SSA Report 7050). We ask that you bring this info into the office and fill out the necessary forms to get yourself registered. If you have any questions on this, you can contact John Barber at (831)321-2640 or the office at (831)633-2311.

If you are a Traveler from another IBEW Local, fill out the necessary forms here. You will need a Travel Letter and a Current Dues Receipt. If you have any questions on this, you can contact the office at (831)633-2311.
